I am a Close to My Heart consultant. What or who is that you might ask. Well, I decided in the summer of '08 that I want to do something beyond just the hobby of scrapbooking. I looked on the web for ideas. I came across different websites for being a consultant. I looked at Creative memories....didn't feel I could stand 100% behind their products. Looked at Stampin Up. Once again I loved the products, but felt that I would be frustrated using a wodden block to stamp my images. I then saw a post for Close to My Heart. I saw I needed to contact a consultant to find out more info. I didn't want to spend the time talking to someone I didn't know. I was going on a scrapbooking weekend and knew I didn't have the time to talk with someone. I went on this long scrapbooking getaway about 8 hrs. from my house. I had such a blast with my sister and friends. The lady who hosts the retreat house, just so happens to be a CTMH consultant. So I guess you know what I did right?! I spent a great deal of time talking with her about the company. Julie is a very energetic and enthusiastic person. She gave me an Idea Book right on the spot. She didn't even get the chance to look through it herself so we sat down together to go through the book! Wow! There was so much in that book it was quite overwhelming! I leafed through that book about a million times. Everytime thinking about what a great company it seems to be. It was about a month later that I signed up to be a consultant. I never even heard of the company, let along go to a gathering or see any of the products. I just felt very confident being able to stand 100% behind such products that they had to sell. I am so glad to have the opportunity to talk with Julie. I think that if it wasn't for her I probably would have never checked back with Close to My Heart.
